Sunday is that special day when we celebrate our beloved moms, grandmothers, sisters, and even our girlfriends who are moms as well. I’ve rounded up a few gift ideas which I think would be perfect for that special woman in your life. I know I’d like a few of them(hint… hint…) I am so in love with the pink Le Creuset and I think I’ve told the hubs a million times already that it’s a limited edition and won’t be around forever. The Tory Burch Sandals are perfect for Summer and would be great with little skirts, dresses, or even jeans and an off the shoulder top. And, I love that J.CREW clutch for Summer, it’s a great addition to adding a pop of color to shorts and a basic tee. These gifts are all great but at the end of the day it’s about spending time with your mom and showing her how much you care. Even if it’s a simple hand written note which she probably will treasure more than anything. However, you really should buy her that pink Le Creuset Dutch Oven. Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers out there.

Amidst all of the packing and chaos of the house we managed to enjoy a bit of the weekend. Saturday was the only nice day we really had weather wise so we went out for a few cocktails and dinner. The hubs and I like to be sporadic sometimes and just “restaurant hop.” We were in the mood for a nice patio, some French music, a great cheese plate, and a glass of Rosé. First up we went to one of our favorite little French places Le Fou Frog and sat for a few hours enjoying the lovely patio and quiet surroundings. We ended the evening at Aixois where we ate the most amazing grilled Artichoke and split a burger(I know not very French). Before we ended the evening we walked around the art fair going on around town and indulged in some ice cream. Sunday started with a great breakfast or Avocado toast and eggs followed by cleaning and cleaning and packing. I am starting to get anxious as we continue to pack up the house and wonder where I am going to fit all our furniture. The next few weeks are going to be mass chaos so the blog will also be mass chaos and I might be a little absent, I apologize in advance if I am. However, here’s a few things I am loving for the new week. Banana Republic is on the off the shoulder trend and I love this dress,  and this top.  I also popped into Pottery Barn to look for curtains and love this pillow for the Summer season to dress up our white couch and these marble cheese knives as well. This little Old Navy cardigan is quickly becoming a favorite and I am thinking about picking up the blush color as well. It’s so easy to throw on with jeans and a tee and I can even wear to work as well.  Happy Monday.

You all know I love a good Rosé about as much as anything. I prefer French ones specifically from Provence which should come as no surprise. I am not sure why I prefer the Provence ones but my palette always gravitates toward this kind. By no means am I a wine expert at all so I couldn’t tell you what year is best, what food tastes best with Rosé, or what flavors mix well. I just know which ones I like best so that’s what I am sharing with you today. The start of Spring is always exciting because here in Kansas City that means it’s also time for Rosé season. If you’re lucky enough to live somewhere warm all year then it’s probably Rosé season all year, but not here. From March to September you will find me with a glass in hand and a cheese platter in the other. One of our favorite things to do in Paris was go from cafe to cafe and just sit with a bottle of Rosé and take in the sights. Clearly, you can tell I have an infinite love for this wine. If your favorite isn’t on the list please do share.

Since I haven’t done many outfit posts lately I thought I’d show you pictures I’ve snapped recently of what I’ve been wearing. The weather really has been so odd the past month with a few cold days, rainy days, and sunny days. The first part of the month I was wearing jackets and sweaters still but hopefully those days are coming to a close. I am so ready to just throw on a dress or shorts with sandals and be done.

Don’t forget if you can’t see the graphic under the picture then click on the hyperlink at the bottom of your email or look at the post on the full site. Thanks.
