I can’t believe it’s almost been two months since I went to NYC with Sara but I am finally doing a little recap of our trip. We honestly had the best time and definitely made the most of our short time there. New York is one of those cities that you could spend months in and still not see half of what you went for. My favorite part about NYC was just walking around and people watching and looking at all the architecture and listening to all the different languages around us being spoken. It reminds me a little of Paris with all the amazing sights and restaurants and culture and French bakeries everywhere. The weather was actually better than we had anticipated considering the week before we went they had a major snow storm. I was pretty happy with what I had packed and only ended up wearing a light coat most of the time. We stayed at the Marlton in the West Village ,which was the cutest boutique hotel, with complete Parisian vibes. The location of the Marlton was great and pretty much within walking distance of all the spots we wanted to hit up. Sara and I had planned out an agenda for months since we knew we had a short amount of time but wanted to see so much. I was surprised that we were actually able to stick to the agenda and able to visit so many spots on our list. Basically, we went to eat, shop and walk around and that’s exactly what we did. I would love to be able to go back in the Spring with Nathan and London and picnic in Central Park and show London the city.
