5 Year Anniversary

Today, we celebrate our 5 year anniversary. I am not sure where the time has gone. As, I was looking through some of our wedding pictures there are so many details I’ve never noticed before.  The day still seems like a blur but I do know it was one of the happiest days of my life.  The few things I do remember are that it started pouring that morning only a few hours before the wedding. Since it was an outdoor wedding I was clearly freaking out a bit. I remember my aunt telling me that was the Hawaiian Gods way of wishing us well and washing away the past and making room for a bright future. Sure enough, the Sun came out right before the wedding and it was gorgeous the rest of the day.  The only other hiccup was that our Kahuna(priest)never showed up. Thankfully, it all worked out but apparently he had the wrong date written down.  The night ended as it started with a cool Hawaiian breeze and rain shower but that didn’t stop us from staying on the dance floor.  It truly was a magical day surrounded by our family and friends.  Here’s to many more wonderful years. Love You.  Oh, and just for the record last year we totally forgot when our anniversary was. You can read more about that here.

      • How awesome!! I would love recommendations for Maui! I’ve been their twice when I was younger, but it will be fun to go back as an adult! 🙂
