Festive Fourth Cocktail

Last weekend Nathan came home with a bag full of fireworks he had picked up, and I was digging through the bag and came across some sparklers. Just so happened I was making a cocktail at this same time.  I should tell you that I have been trying to come up with a new cocktail recipe every week for some reason.  That’s besides the point, but I said let’s light a sparkler and put it in the drink and see what happens!  So, here’s a festive holiday drink in case you needed one.  You’re welcome.

3-4 Strawberries
6-8 pieces of mint, I like a lot of mint so you can add less if you want
2 ounces  Absolut Berry Acai
1 ounce simple syrup
Half a can of La Croix Lemon Sparkling Water
1. Place mint and strawberries in cocktail shaker and muddle.
2. Add vodka, simple syrup, ice cubes and shake, shake, shake.
3. Pour into fun and festive glass and top with La Croix.
4. Add sparkler and enjoy.

  • This Looks AMAZING! I am going to need to try this while we are at the cabin this weekend! 🙂
