We are ready for Halloween around here! I think about this time last year and I didn’t have a single decoration out. Actually, I think we bought a pumpkin on Halloween day and threw it on the porch mostly for the trick or treaters. This year has been different thought and I know it’s because now there’s a little munchkin crawling around and the Halloween festiveness is exploding out of me!
I found these M & M candy corns at Target and all I can say is OMG! I love candy corn and put it together with M & M’s and white chocolate and amazeballs! This bowl will be eaten within 48 hours.
I found the inspiration for this popcorn recipe here. I made this on Saturday. It will also be eaten within 48 hours.
I wasn’t looking for a new chalkboard, but I was at Home Goods this weekend and this one happened to jump off the shelf and right into my cart! I plan to utilize in the dining room somehow. Now, I only wish I could have some super fun chalkboard writing to go with it. I did this below using chalk and a font I printed off the computer and then drew it freehand, but clearly need practice.
I also bought these glitter pumpkins at Michales for 50% off. I plan on using them as a centerpiece for Thanksgiving as well. What’s better than glitter pumpkins?
I also made this Halloween banner for the fireplace. You can learn how to make your own here.
This was the second weekend in a row we tried to take London to a pumpkin patch. We finally made it but by the time we got there the patch was already closed for the day. So, instead we walked around the farm and looked at all the animals. So, maybe next weekend or next year at this point! She has no clue anyway.
Hope you had a great weekend and thanks for reading XOXO,
