Craving: The smell of Peonies at the market and the beautiful colors that come alive during this time of year. Spring is my absolute favorite Season and I look forward to this time every year. The weather could be a bit warmer but I know warmer days are on the way.
Doing: We are buying our luggage this weekend for Paris. I know that probably seems like the most boring thing to do, but I am so excited inside. It’s just one more step in the planning process for our trip. One of our local stores is having a special on luggage so that’s why we are getting it this early. Since, we will be there for 2 weeks we are each purchasing a backpack that will double as a large suitcase which we can carry on the trains and to and from our destinations.
Recreating– I’ve mentioned several times how I am trying to edit my wardrobe and only purchase fewer better items. Loved this article on the Everygirl this week about building a capsule collection from Caroline Rector. I am definitely taking notes on this one and going to recreate my own capsule collection.
Eating: Wednesday night I made this Thai Basil Recipe from Natalie and it was incredible. We ate every bite and London even had her share.
Lucky: Did anyone try and order a new bag from Mansur Gavriel yesterday and was anyone lucky enough to actually get one? I think all the bags were sold out within the first 5 minutes. I missed this round so I’ll try again in May for the Mini Mini Bucket Bag.
Needing: A few days off and a way to put a pep in my step. I have been extremely exhausted since daylight savings for some reason. I can’t get up in the morning and I am going to be early. I haven’t had any motivation to write the blog or do much of anything else. I am hoping with the start of Spring and sunnier and warmer days that I will get out of my funk.
Buying: Spring sales are going on right now for Madewell, J.CREW, and Banana Republic. Love this dress, this top, this striped one, this tee, this silk top, this graphic one (only $17), and this cardigan.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend
