Hello Lattes + Lavender readers!
I’m so thrilled to be filling in for Noelani as she travels off to my dream destination to celebrate her birthday Parisian style.  I’m Mandy and I am the writer & photographer behind Mandy & Such.  A blog that incorporates a little bit of everything. . . fashion, food, interiors and a bit about my personal life & journey.  I’d love to connect with you, so grab your coffee and hop on over for a little daily inspiration anytime.

When Noelani asked me to write a guest post, I immediately thought it would be fitting to share a recent makeover we completed in our home.  I am by no means a DIYer so everything was pretty simple – new paint, accessories and oh yeah, more paint.  We’d been living with our dark, builder beige master bathroom for the past 2 years and finally decided that it was time to make our home truly feel like “ours.”  My husband and I picked out a gorgeous warm grey color to paint the cabinets and the rest sort of took off from there.  New light fixtures, cabinet hardware, towels, mirrors and a subtle grey-white shade of paint on the walls and we have a completely updated space that truly represents my hubby & I.

And here is a little peek of what the space looked like when we first moved in. . .

Pretty cool what some new paint & accessories will do for a space.  We had a tight budget for this bathroom so we shopped a few big box stores like Target and Home Depot to save money but without sacrificing style.  They have so many great options these days that it made it really easy to get the look we wanted for the right price.  If you are looking for any specific sources included above- feel free to head on over to my blog, I’ve linked them all at the bottom of this post.

Thanks again for having me Noelani!  I hope all of your Paris dreams are coming true. . .
