Merry Christmas Eve

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I have been waiting for London’s first Christmas and it’s finally here. We (I) couldn’t be more excited and ready for Santa. Our family is all together, the presents are wrapped, the tree is decorated, and the stockings are waiting to be stuffed. The morning started with mimi’s banana bread shaped into a reindeer and Christmas Eve pajamas’. Later today we will go to an early family dinner where we can be home in time for our favorite tradition of watching 24 hours of “A Christmas Story,” and leaving cookies and milk for Santa. Tomorrow my mom will make her famous Christmas morning Beignets (Yes, I get a little bit of French love on this day) and off to see more family! Tomorrow night will conclude with finishing up “A Christmas Story,” then on to “Christmas Vacation” and “Home Alone.” If only the festiveness could last all year. Here’s a few of our favorite memories already and many more to come in the next 24 hours! Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and hoping Santa is good to each and every one of you.  Oh, check out the photo of the stocking my mom bought for London. The child could fit in the damn thing.

Notice how everyone else has a much smaller stocking. London’s is in the middle if you can’t figure that out. It’s 3 feet long in case you’re wondering.

The munchkin’s festive outfit for today and “Christmas Story” marathon. Clearly, she will not be partaking in the 24 hour viewing.
