Christmas 2014 is officially behind us and it’s time to start preparing for the New Year. I always have a hard time with Christmas being over because I love the way the house is decorated, the lights on the tree, and all the fun festivities that come along with the Season. However, I am ready to get back on a schedule and get the house back in order. My family is still here with us through the New Year and we’ve had the best time so far. I can honestly say this is the best Christmas I’ve ever had because London was so much fun. She still didn’t fully understand the concept of Santa coming, but she understood how to open gifts and enjoy everything.
My parents gave London a Bitty Baby and she’s smitten with the little doll. It’s so cute to watch her pat the doll and act like she’s feeding her. Her other grandma got her a stroller for the doll so she’s been running the doll all around the living room all weekend.
Sunday we enjoyed pancakes with a new topping of Roasted Pears and Blackberries and it was absolutely delicious. It also gave me a chance to use the coffee pot I had asked for from Santa. The rest of the week I’ll be prepping for a New Years dinner with friends and family and trying to get back to some normalcy. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
