Our Vacation

Today I am sharing pictures from our vacation to Florida which included Disney World, Universal, and pool time.  This was the first vacation Nathan and I have been on together by ourselves in about 3 years.  Originally when I started telling people about this vacation they asked two questions? Why are you taking London when she’s so young? When I would tell them we weren’t taking London, they’d ask why we were going to Disney for our vacation? Simply put we love Disney World.  Our first trip was about four years ago and we couldn’t wait to go back.  We decided to do three days at the parks, one day at Universal, and two days at the pool at our hotel.  Plus, my brother lives in Boca Raton so he was able to come up and spend two days with us which was so much fun. Our hotel the Waldorf Astoria was pretty incredible and our room even had a view of the Magic Kingdom and Epcot fireworks which we only saw one night because we were at the parks the other nights.  We spent the first day poolside enjoying the sun and some much needed cocktails.  We also ended up getting pedicures at the hotel spa that day which was pretty hilarious considering it was Nathan’s first and last time.

Our days went pretty much like this, sleep in until about 7:30, eat an amazing breakfast of which 3 days I ate chocolate croissants in France at Epcot, and then head to the parks.  We spent the first half day at the Magic Kingdom and then headed to Epcot which is our absolute Favorite.  We love nothing more than to eat and drink our way through Epcot.  One night we had dinner in France and the other night in England.  Next week I’ll be showing you an entire post dedicated to my favorite spot in Epcot so stay tuned.  The second day we spent at Hollywood Studios and then headed to Animal Kingdom in the afternoon. The third day we went to Hollywood Studios in the morning to ride two rides, back to Epcot to eat and drink again, and then spent the evening at the Magic Kingdom watching the fireworks.  One of the best parts about the vacation was we had no agenda.  We could go and leave as we pleased and just take it easy which is exactly what we needed.

I had several people ask me where I got the black and blue embroidered top in yesterday’s post.  I actually bought that top and this bag here in Morocco at Epcot.  Who knew you could find such fabulous finds at a theme park. This was one of our favorite spots by the way, a little pub in England Called the Rose and Crown.

This guy happened to come up to us on our safari ride at Animal Kingdom.  I’ve never been on a real safari but this was pretty amazing and worth standing in line for.

The days my brother came to visit we spent one entire day at the pool with cocktails floating around the lazy river and the second day we went to Universal. I don’t get to spend as much time with my brother as I’d like but when we do we make up for lost time. Besides my husband he is the best guy to be around and the most fun.

If you’re a fan of Harry Potter then this place will blow your mind.  It was kind of creepy how close everything looked to the actually movie.

And, ending on a sweet note it was such a great trip and I wish we could do it all over tomorrow.  I know the next time we go will be with London in a few years so it was perfect taking one last time for ourselves at the Happiest Place.

Most of these pictures were taken with our phones so not necessarily the best quality but you get the drift.
