For our Florida vacation a few weeks ago I had to strategically plan what I was going to wear. We were going mostly to theme parks all day so I had to have comfortable shoes and attire. There were a few nights I knew we’d be going out for a nice dinner so I needed to incorporate outfits for that as well. My husband gave me a one suitcase only speech before we left so I came up with what I thought would be the definite essentials I would need. I packed a lot of basics so it was easy to mix and match on the 6 days we were gone. I mostly wore the tennis shoes during the day and would slip the sandals on during the evening. I took a few long sleeve shirts even though I knew it was going to be in the 80s because I am always cold so I figured it would be easy to throw one on at night if I needed. Plus, I always wear long sleeves on the plan because I am always freezing so the linen top was perfect.
My three dollar Target hat was with me the whole time and has still been the best cheap buy ever. Usually I pack a ton of jewelry but this time I kept it pretty simple. I switched the earrings back and forth each day and the necklaces were reserved for our dinners. I also got away with having my crossbody and Kate Spade wristlet the entire time during day and night. You can read more about the crossbody here. There’s a lot of times I go on vacation and regret not packing one thing or another but this time there wasn’t one single regret.
