party10This past weekend we celebrated London’s 2nd birthday with a pancakes and pajamas themed birthday party. Saturday morning we hosted about 10 of her little friends along with their parents for a fun filled breakfast and play time. I can’t take credit for the cute idea though, I have to give that to my girlfriend who did the same theme last year for her little girl. I loved the idea so much that I had to steal it along with some of her decorations she used. In all honesty though, it’s such a great idea for little ones. What child doesn’t love pancakes? Plus, I started the party at 10 and by noon everyone was leaving and by 3 the house was clean and London was fast asleep.  Here’s what was on our menu and some of the decorations I used.

Pancakes with various toppings: Fruit, sprinkles, whip cream, chocolate chips
Turkey and Sausage Casserole- I found a recipe on AllRecipes.com several years ago that’s our go to, but I can’t seem to locate on the site now.
Homemade Yogurt Donuts
Gluten Free Donuts for our friends with allergies
Gluten Free Fruit Loop Bars
Cake Pops By Just A Bite of Yours
Invitations and Decorations By Inkberry Cards and Design
Fuji Instamax Mini Camera
Plastic milk containers, straws, and berry holders from Shop Sweet Lulu
Kids plastic dinnerware and plates from IKEA

Such a fun time but I can’t believe my little munchkin is two already. Time flies so much and I only hope I can cherish all these lasting memories and moments.
