Viennese Iced Coffee

There are two things the hubs and I love more than anything and that’s espresso and ice cream.  Put the two together and O.M.G it’s too sinful.  The other night the hubs was looking through the Barefoot Contessa Foolproof for that perfect dessert we wanted for the evening and he came across this recipe. At first, we weren’t sure what to think but we’ve eaten this every night for the past 3 nights in a row! Yes, we sure have and no, we aren’t sorry about it one bit. If you’re a fan of espresso and ice cream then do this right now!





A few things I did differently were to add a little chocolate syrup to the bottom of the jar before pouring in the espresso mixture. Also, I froze mine as well for a few hours and it was incredible.  It came out a little slushy but the espresso and ice cream had melted together and frozen over. DIVINE. I used my Nespresso for the espresso shots but I am sure it would work just as well with stronger coffee. Let me know what you think.
