What a beautiful weekend we had for so many reasons and the main one of course being the royal wedding. I did wake up at 5 am on Saturday to watch from the beginning because how could I not? I remember watching Diana’s, watching Kate’s and now Meghan’s. I do have to say it was such a lovely ceremony and seems to fit their personality and relationship. I wasn’t however 100% in love with her dress, it seemed too big for her and was so simple. Not that I don’t like simple but I just felt like there could have been a bit more to the dress although I did love the veil. Her reception dress however was amazing and exactly what I would expect from her. London did watch some of the wedding with me and it was so fun to talk to her about all the details and everything that was happening. If you’re dying for more royal wedding coverage and pictures like me then head to Town & Country Magazine because they have everything you need. Sunday we worked on a little decorating and organizing of the living room and hallway.  We recently purchased a new rug for the living room so we started moving rugs around to different rooms, Nathan happened to put one in the hall in front of the front door and I am loving the look. We still need a little piece of artwork above the gold hooks on the wall but I do have a few things in mind. Sunday night we grilled out and ate on the screened in porch and took a little walk around the neighborhood. Several of our neighbors have yards full of Peonies and London and I stopped to take pictures in front of all of them. Once we start landscaping this is one flower that’s definitely going in our yard. This next week is London’s last week of Pre-Kindergarten which is sad and exciting all at the same time. I know she’s ready for Kindergarten but I am not sure I am ready for her to go yet.

A few things I am loving to start the week are these J.CREW Chambray Pants, this skirt, and this hat. I am on the waitlist for this Everlane Tote, which comes in 6 other colors and is a favorite of Meghan Markle. Hope you have a great week ahead.
