Weekend Note

Happy Friday! I can’t believe we are already ending the first week of November. This months is already going to fly by I just know it will. Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away and I am getting so excited to start holiday decorating, baking, shopping. This year is going to be so much fun with London understanding more now. This weekend I plan on working on my holiday agenda.  Hope you have a great one, but read a few of these links before you do.

Tomorrow I will be hosting an event at MADEWELL from 2-5 pm, and I hope to see you all there.  You can read more about the event here.

LUCY is also celebrating their 10 year anniversary and Hoddy from Bar Method KC will be there all day so stop by and meet her and find out what Bar Method is all about.  They will also be having 30% off your purchase.

GAP has started their friends and family event. Great time to start your holiday shopping! It runs through Monday.

The Alexander Wang collaboration with H&M debuted yesterday and almost every piece is sold out already!

Williams-Sonoma friends and family starts next Thursday with 20% off your purchase. This is my favorite kitchen store and especially this time of year. It smells so wonderful and looks so festive. I could seriously peruse this store for hours.

Have you seen the new Burberry ad campaign with Romeo Beckham? It’s absolutely gorgeous and if this doesn’t make you want to run out and buy a Burberry Trench, I don’t know what will.

We are in the midst of painting the living room and sitting room next week and I have aimlessly been looking for paint combinations that go well together. I loved this article on Domino which gave great examples of perfect combinations.

The Nordstrom clearance sale is going on now. A few items I am loving are this scarf, these Burberry booties, this Vince sweater, these Chuck Taylor’s for London.

Noey, I hope your event at Madewell goes well! If I lived in KC, I’d be there to support you in a heartbeat…I am curious what jeans you’d recommend for me from there? I am looking at the Alley straight pair. Are they flattering? I want something straight and slim, but not TOO slim….

    • Hi Marnie! You are the sweetest and I miss you! I think the Alley would look great on you. I have a friend coming tomorrow who is around your height. I’ll have her try them on and let you know how they look!

  • Is that picture from your house?? It’s perfection! And that Madewell event sounds awesome. Enjoy!

    • Yes, it’s my nightstand. Thanks!
