Three weeks ago we moved into our new place back near the city and out of the suburbs. After four years of living in the suburbs we missed the electricity of being near the city, being able to walk to restaurants and shops, and the cultural aspect of being in a city. We were ready to make the move and had┬átalked about it for a while but finally decided last October it was time to make the move. After months of living in limbo and having no idea if things were going to work out the way we wanted it all came together in the end. And, the best part is we ended up buying a fixer upper in an amazing neighborhood. I mean this house needs lots of TLC but we are more than ready to make it all happen. I have mentally prepared myself it’s going to take months and years for the house to be completed but we are already so in love with the bones of the house it makes it all the better. We are already enjoying living by one of our favorite parks and being able to walk to our favorite French restaurant for breakfast on the weekends. Next week I’ll share a few pics of the inside and a few things that sold us on the house like my absolute favorite room, the screened in porch.

  • So exciting! It’s such a small world…I’ve been taking Crystal’s classes at Health House and she mentioned that you two are friends (and you’re the one who told her to start going to my sister for her hair!) and that she got to see the new place over the long weekend. You have impeccable taste and I can’t wait to see what you do with it čÖé
