Easy Holiday Treats as Gifts

If you have any last minute gifts you are needing to give to friends, neighbors, co-workers, or even your friendly barista here’s an idea. Everyone loves sweets over the holidays so why not give them some goodies they can enjoy from the comfort of their own couch this coming week. I put together these little gifts for London’s teachers and staff at school.  I baked some of the cookies ahead of time and froze them which made the baking part a little easier.  It also made it easier to clean up the tornado that came through my kitchen.  I am definitely not an organized baker.

I found the jars at Wal-Mart for a little over $2 and they even come with the bow and tag.  I added a cinnamon stick for smell and to be a little more festive. Then I just filled with my favorite items I love to bake for the holidays.  I added a new recipe to the line up this year and OMG! Stop what you’re doing and make this White Chocolate/Chocolate Chip Cookie Bark right now! I can’t even begin to tell you how delicious these taste.  They are the bomb diggity bomb.

I also added the usual chocolate chip, rolo cookies, peanut butter truffles, chocolate pretzels, and chocolate cashew turtles.  Anything that’s on your holiday baking list can easily go into the jar.  You could even put homemade granola, toasted nuts, or even your favorite cookie mix in the jar as a gift.  Mason jars would also look pretty stinking cute as well.

Put into a festive bag with a little card and these babies are good to go! Enjoy!

Nice work Noey! I don’t know how you get all this done. I don’t even have a child to blame it on 😉

HaHa! Lots of time management and organization. Although, I lack on the organization so on my to do list for 2014!

  • So glad you made the cookies and love them! They are SO good!
